Representatives who have their pay cut should moonlight. These two Representatives moonlight as board members of the NRA. If you are on an important committee you too can find a position as a VP or board member from some company or organization who has an interest in buying your vote. A job fair will be organized on the Mall later this month. Please attend as there are companies who understand your valuableness even if the House Republican leadership does not.

(thank you, NRA Board of Directors , for supplying these informative bio's)

The NRA really frightens you, doesn't it? It should... Democrats are going to learn the hard way that the NRA isn't composed of "gun nuts". Just ask Bill Clinton.

the NRA lost every race it put money into this election cycle.

so what were you saying?

here's the real deal... the GOP should worry that it needs to cut loose the NRA

90% of the country approves of tightening background checks

70% or 80% of NRA members approve of tightening background checks and closing the gun show loophole

and 80% of republicans approve of shutting the gun show loophole and tightening background checks.

no one cares what the NRA has to say right now. the brand was wrecked when they let the wackadoodle speak.

I really did not want to make this about the NRA but in searching for exactly how much the board members make I found this. I did find that the NRA rewards those who actively support the cause very well with their $300M annual budget. Pay those dues.

This is one of three pages. Just a little something to remind one who will be there for you.

I simply used the NRA as an example. You are welcome to add any other organization who have sitting Congressmen on the payroll.

I don't see anything that says they are in PAID positions, are you just making assumptions?

Are you making assumptions they are not?

Considering it would be an ethics violation, I would bet they're not. Funny, didn't even see their names on the contribution list.

What is frighting is that people don't mind this colossal conflict of interest. Lobbyists now run our government but as long as its an issue (editorial) "you" happen to agree with, (editorial) "you're" okay with it.

The lobbyists pay the congressperson.
Do you really believe the congressperson will then vote against the interests of the lobbyist?

Why doesn't that frighten (editorial) "you"?
