So how is the US going to tell Muslims coming from Islamic countries where this sort of thing is common and accepted their marriages are null and void here because by our standards they're child sexual abusers? What if they invoke our recent religious freedom laws? On what religious grounds could they be prevented from carrying on when it's such a mainstream part of their religion?

Isn't gays people need to worry about getting pedophilic relationships legalized and respected in law, it's the religious people.

US state law respects religious laws about marriage as to incest like in Rhode Island,

"§ 15-1-4 Marriages of kindred allowed by Jewish religion. – The provisions of §§ 15-1-2 and 15-1-3 shall not extend to, or in any way affect, any marriage which shall be solemnized among the Jewish people, within the degrees of affinity or consanguinity allowed by their religion. "

and other northeastern states (NY, NJ, others.)

So on what grounds would US lawmakers oppose such a widely held religious position? This isn't like other things in religion that few if any still do, is current and indemic to Islam.
