"Dogma" (1999)
Despite Catholic and other religious groups boycotting it, they shouldn't have. Other than liberal use of profanity, some sexual references, drug references, it's a very pro-faith movie. Some scenes are positively jaw-droppingly awesome for religious people. Like the one after (spoiler alert) Bethany learns she's the distant descendent of Jesus (like a more mainstream movie starring Tom Hanks...) and runs through the forest having a bit of a meltdown encountering Metatron standing on a lake's surface. Watch and rewind to watch that scene a few dozen times. It's SO good!
