Record number of uninsured adults...What is the GOP going to do about it?

where are those death panels? has anyone been killed yet?

Yes, they are called "Insurance companies" and thousands have died. How do you think the CEO of Cigna gets 73 million dollars? That money has to come from somewhere.

ObamaCare: You fucked up, you trusted us.

What the hell business is it of yours how much money the CEO of CIGNA gets? Quite the little fascist aren't you!

Has anything been implemented yet. Other than the Insurance Companies losing it, it's premature. The denial of service will come when it's on the Government's dime. You are too impatient.

I always tell people about the program and especially how the Swiss viewed and tackled part of the problem; for-profit insurance companies.

FRONTLINE: sick around the world: interviews: pascal couchepin | PBS

Interview with Couchepin:

question:
One of the things really striking for Americans is that under LAMal, you now say the insurance companies can't make a profit on basic coverage. What's the thinking there?

answer: The idea is very simple: If it is a social insurance, and everybody is obliged to be a member of a health insurance system, you can't ask them to pay so that the shareholders get a better revenue. It is a little the same, if I can compare with SBB, our railway system. We are very attached to the railway system; Switzerland is a country of railway. ... I think that the people wouldn't [have] agreed to privatize the railways [as] it is done now in Great Britain. To think that they can [make] a profit on the railway system, it [would] be against equality in this matter.

Naturally, you can question that, ... but till now we were able to afford a good railway system, to improve it and to have a high quality in transportation. ... We want also high quality for everybody in the health system, and after that you can earn more money than your neighbor. ... School, health care, railway system, aging, to have a good place for nursing homes for old people, retired people, we think that we must have equality of that -- not quite complete equality, it is impossible, but to have a great sense of solidarity among the people.

And let's take it a step farther, if you're not old enough to buy your own health insurance, you're not old enough to vote.

Repeal the 26th Amendment.

Enough of the parasitic, bicycle-helmeted granolaheads fucking things up by giving us dunderheads like Obama.

Problem there Karl Jr..... the majority of Americans DON'T FUCKING WANT THIS.

Watch, next month it will be 3 trillion Amercians without insurance...

I would be happy if we eliminated insurance.

My local hospital charged me 2k, my insurance 10k, than told me my wife might be pregnant and sent us home. My insurance company freely paid the bill, my protest meant nothing, I felt I was ripped off by the hospital so that they could pay for all the illegal aliens that surrounded me.

I know we need something, I also know the government is most likely 90% of the problem, before Obamacare.

shit man, can't you use a pregnancy test kit like everyone else?

We tried the test, that was not the problem, my wife had what she described as bad pain. We went to our doctor which was actually three doctors or more in one office, bad recommendation, minority doctors actually. They see nobody who just walk-in for these particular minority doctors are so greedy they overbook, the also over charge those of us with insurance, the woman doctor actually laughed when I asked how much and told her my deductible. To paraphrase, "dont worry, we will use up your deductible long before the hospital", meaning I will pay nothing once they ate up my deductible.

So they were beyond over booked, they book the patients down the hallway, of course most of the mexicans or latinos had three or more kids so that was partially why it was so crowded.

The doctor told us we had to go to the emergency room and they would not even look at my wife.

At the emergency room there are two levels of care, first floor emergency, second floor non emergency. The latino receptionist made us wait until the second floor closed. Some number of hours, and at that I was not until I screamed and got the attention of a nurse that I made it pass this latino. Her excuse was those other people did not have as much pain so they were seen immediately by the non-emergency doctors, seems like a receptionist is a poor screener for emergency or non-emergency.

I told her its not an emergency if we we are able to sit in pain the last four hours watching all the latinos go upstairs where the cost is a hundred bucks.

So my wife got to be seen by every doctor and we did get to go to the other floor where simple pregnancy is taken care of but each doctor who spoke to us was an individual charge. Each machine that touched my wife a charge.

They were nice enough to do the ultra sound three times and each time they said it was to early to tell if my wife was pregnant, that made me mad, our Walmart test kit showed us to pregnant, all three of them.

Almost sounds like a white trash story, my wife did tell me she was pregnant in the Walmart parking lot after taking the pregnancy test in the Walmart parking lot.

Too bad Walmart does not handle pregnancy, I would of liked to go to China.

the biggest factor in moblizing the tea party was the hatred of the redistribution of wealth that Obama nicknamed Healthcare reform.

Democrats still run everything, took over health care and costs are skyrocketing AND there are 50, 60 maybe 80 million (because what the fuck difference does 10 or 20 million people make?) uninsured.

Terrific

good thing democrats aim isn't that good, cause they'd shoot off both feet.
They attack insurance companies for ripping people off, then attack republicans because many people agree and don't chose to buy that service. LOFL

I said this was going to suck when even Obama was fucking around with the number of uninsured out in the tens of million column.

How was this even going to work well for the American people?

Have you figured out that when Obama was talking about "Change" he didn't mean a change for the better?

It's retarded to think most uninsured 20 somethings want to buy it. I didn't before entering the corp world and niether do my son's. Democrats fast and lose with the numbers big time.

In my opinion, it is not the duty or constitutional role of the federal government to provide health care to the citizenry.

"To promote the general Welfare..."

When do liberals tell us that phrase in the Constitution means the government should wipe our behinds, because we can't do it for ourselves?

If socialism was the reason behind that phrase explain why it took until the Johnson admin for welfare to become a government policy?

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
