Yes, Virginia, there really are death panels. And they are ran by the government.

Jan Brewer, Governor of Arizona, summarily stopped transplants Medicaid payments. Summarily enough that one fellow was on the gurney for the operating room, when he was informed if he could not come up with $200,000, they were putting the liver back into storage.

Norman J. Ornstein - 'Death panels' are real -- brought on by budget pressures

During the debate over health reform, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.), Sarah Palin and others railed against the "death panels" that would result from the bill. Government bureaucrats, critics said, would decide who would die and when. The bill passed - and indeed there are death panels. But they do not come from the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, a.k.a. "Obamacare." They come from Republican administrations in states such as Arizona and Indiana.

But, since these are Republican Death Panels, they are just the cat's meow. Saving money, since these citizens are probably useless anyway.

Get used to government telling you how much health care you can't have.

Of course an asshole such as yourself would state that. What you mean is that you wish for lifesaving procedures to be provided only for those with the wealth to pay the total cost. Assholes like you carry on about 'Death Panels' when paying for end of life counseling is recomended, then shout your approval for real death panels. Your true morality is showing.

And what you're saying is that we need to eliminate all the old, weak, and defective.

Got it.

yes this was the government, via medicaid. whacked isn't it?

I fail to see how a much larger gov. mechanism would have changed the paradigm or WILL. When you square that circle for me let me know.

Now, from what I understand, which could be in degree, mistaken, under obama care, the states are going to be on the hook for more of the share of medicaid. IF they don't have the money now, where will they get it?

My GP, who is Mexican btw, has not seen medicarel patients for 8 years. Guess why?

you seem to think this is new? Its not, get over it.

Let me ask you a Q-

do you agree or disagree-

there is only so much access and care available?
In that we don't have the resources to give everyone everything in the medical arena?

agree?
disagree?

It's amazing how many of Elvis's posts sound like someone in the closet, trolling.

You mean like the tens of millions of Americans that have no insurance at all? You mean health care that cost double per capita than that of other nations that have far better results from their system? Health care that is totally dependent on one's job? If you have anything at all, and have a major sickness or accident that is not covered by your insurance, you will have nothing if you survive that accident or sickness. A fact of life in America.
