Reagan recovered from a shallow, manufactured recession. Obama is recovering from the worst fiscal crisis since the Great Depression. Not to mention, look at debt held by the public under Reagan and compare it to recent history. VERY different time.

The Bush Recession happened due to lax regulations. Not re-regulating them would only ensure that a crash of that level could happen again. Why would you want that to happen again?
