Rand Paul blocks resolution calling for Mueller report release

Rand Paul blocks resolution calling for Mueller report release | TheHill
March 28, 2019 ~ By Jordain Carney
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blocked a resolution calling for special counsel Robert Mueller's report to be made public, arguing that Congress should also call for the release of communications and testimony from Obama-era officials. Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), who is one of several Democratic senators running for president, tried to get unanimous consent for the Senate to pass the resolution, which cleared the House in a 420-0 vote earlier this month.... "We still have not seen the report. I have urged the Department of Justice to release the report, and the administration should not delay in producing the report to Congress," Klobuchar said. But Paul objected because Klobuchar wouldn't agree to amend the nonbinding resolution to include provisions calling for the public release of communications between several Obama-era officials including former President Obama, former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan.... "We need to know was there malfeasance, was there misuse of power, did President Obama's administration get involved in an election to infiltrate the Trump campaign to trap them? … We need to know that," he said. "What we need to discover and we do not yet know: Was President Obama involved?" Under Senate rules, any one senator can request that any bill or resolution be passed. But because it requires the sign-off of every senator, any one senator can also block their request. Thursday's floor drama marks the fourth time Democrats have tried to pass the House resolution, which argues there is “overwhelming public interest” in the government releasing the contents of the high-profile Mueller report. The resolution calls on the Justice Department to fully release the report to Congress and to release it to the public “except to the extent the public disclosure of any portion thereof is expressly prohibited by law.” Mueller handed over his report to the Justice Department last week, marking the formal end to his two-year investigation. Attorney General William Barr sent a four-page letter to the House and Senate Judiciary committees on Sunday and told lawmakers he is currently working with Mueller to determine what should be released.

The Mueller Investigation has been based upon a lie created on a lie by those within the former administration. We should investigate and hunt down these treasonous perpetrators.
"We need to know was there malfeasance, was there misuse of power, did President Obama's administration get involved in an election to infiltrate the Trump campaign to trap them?" … "We need to know that," he said. "What we need to discover and we do not yet know: Was President Obama involved?" Senator Rand Paul is right.
It boils down to what's right for the goose is good for the gander. If we are to find out what led to this lie fomented by the Progressive Marxist Socialist Democrats beginning with Bath House Barry and working down from there.
Republicans will need to take the offensive if they hope to win back Congress next year. That would mean drawing a little blood from the opposition whenever possible, even if it requires taking unpopular stands every once in awhile.
There should be no question that the Mueller report will eventually be released to the public, at least in part. The PMS Dems are, of course, expecting it will have some incriminating paragraphs they can use against Trump. What the report may also contain is information that will give former Obama administration officials the chills.
Why would the PMS Dems want that kind of exposure? Indeed, they must keep up the façade of Russia, Russia Collusion without that they expose themselves to their own criminal activities in a failed coup d'état against the United States of America and a duly elected President

Yes "O" has no ownership of his past actions as President.

But Trump has full ownership of every action as a private citizen and businessman back to his infancy.
Um, no.

Strangely we know more about the life of Jesus Christ than we know about Barack Hussein Obama aka, Barry Soetoro, aka Barry Dunham . One has to ask why Obama's life is such a secret.

I guess we are discussing an affair that occurred during the Bush administration while Trump had no idea he would run for the presidency in his future life. What has that got to do with Trump today? Did you feel uncomfortable with Obama's homosexual activities before he was elected. Hmm...., I wonder where Reggie Love is and what he's doing today.....?
