No it wasn’t. Antisemitism used to be defined as racial prejudice against Semitic peoples which included the Arabs, but in recent years has been used only to talk about prejudice against Jews.

Another common fallacy about antisemitism is that any criticism of the state of Israel is antisemitism, which is bullshit. Successive right wing governments in Israel have escalated the atrocities against the Palestinians for years - economically isolating their communities and sending settlers to the West Bank.

We also need to focus on all of these attacks and protests against both Jews and Muslims throughout the world, in the wake of this war.

Jews and Muslims living in Europe and North America have absolutely NOTHING to do with the war between Israel and Hamas. These violent attacks and threats against college students living on campus, or those simply living their lives far from the hostilities, need to be dealt with and harshly.
