Texas has the right to enforce its law... and to set the punishment for such. You may not like it... the Federal Government may not like it, but at the end of the day, neither you nor the Federal Judiciary have any means to enforce your respective feelings.

Within limits. Those limits being constitutional guarantees and federal law. If Texas law violates the constitutional guarantees of citizens, then those laws are invalid. If Texas laws run afoul of Federal law, than the Supremacy Clause renders Texas law moot.

And federal law forbids not paying employees for their work.

Except that its not. Remember, Keyes....while you're obsessed with gay marriage most folks don't give a shit. And of those that do, most are old. The fighting age people, say, 18 to 29? They overwhelmingly support gay marriage, with between about 70 to 80% support.

So who is going to fight in your civil war? Almost no one cares about this issue sufficient to fight and die for it. You included. And if you can't even convince yourself -and you're obsessed- it seems highly unlikely that you'll be able to convince anywhere near the number necessary for your war.

Your civil war, like your war against homosexuals, is just a personal fantasy. It doesn't actually have a thing to do with the real world.
