Proof SCOTUS is corrupt.

They are not left wing loons like you want.
This isn't about lefty or right-wing nuts - but representing and ensuring DEMOCRACY

But in the eight presidential elections since then, Republicans have won the popular vote only once. Two Republicans who lost the popular vote reached the Oval Office by prevailing in the Electoral College.

Those two — George W. Bush and Donald Trump — would eventually appoint the five justices who, with Thomas, make up the current 6-3 conservative supermajority.

As such the present USSC composition, does NOT represent the US majority in regards to the voters aka the Population. It's therefore clearly undemocratic.

Are they only "right" when they Rule Left?

Rules Colorado can't take trump off the ballot because thats federal'

But let's Texas set its own immigration policy, which is supposed to be federal.

You’re not wrong. Immigration is a federal issue, but then states have a right to secure their borders, don’t they? Also, what do you do when the federal government refuses to enforce immigration laws?

Also, you do bring up a good point. Immigration is a federal issue, which means sanctuary cities are not lawful, since they are skirting federal immigration law.

8 USC 1324 says that it’s illegal to harbor illegal aliens:

  • Harboring unauthorized aliens under subsection 1324(a)(1)(A)(iii) makes it a crime to harbor, shield, or conceal an unauthorized alien knowingly. Harboring includes providing shelter or other assistance (financial, food, etc.).

Yes, up to the point of deporting people and jailing or profiling "suspected" fence jumpers. This was sorted out long ago. Until this very special SCOTUS came along.

Your posting violations notwithstanding, show me where the Constitutions says only the feds have the authority to say who a State must admit.

YOU MAGA's are the ones who constantly claim that e.g. Democrats are corrupt, prejudiced and undemocratic towards the USA

But now you "claim" that 6 Republican appointed SCJ out of 9 SCJ - are representing the US majority and are supposedly ruling "right" - they are clearly ruling in favor of "right-wing" - see the Texas ruling, as such in breach of the US Constitution and Federal Law, and you are therefore plain daft or simply brainwashed.

That the Colorado ruling wasn't going to prevail is understood - since Trump has not been convicted of insurrection yet - and Federal law aka the Constitution, overrules State Laws.

The problem you have is that I am not "MAGA".

While things look favorable for Texas based on the ruling, it wasn't the final decision. They told Biden to take a hike in his attempt to skip the intermediate steps before placing it in consideration by the Supreme Court. With the court not taking it up at this particular time there's wasn't any opinion issued by the court on what, or even any, permission it will allow states.

Now if it comes about states ultimately do gain some responsibility in handling immigration, that seems fair to me considering the costs they're having to bear in handling the situation.

Feel free to show me that State law overrules Federal law, and that immigration laws are not a Federal matter aka regulated by Federal Law.
