hate to break it to you but if the Tariffs aren't taken completely off real fast before Brazil cranks up their soy bean crops starting next year, the American Farmer will NEVER get that back again. Right now, China is still buying Soy beans from the US since we are the largest supplier in the world. But Brazil can take that away from the US in one season if China cuts a deal with them.

The US is the #1 Beef Supplier in the world and sells to China. But if the Tariffs are kept, Argentina is one season away from taking that title away. Australia would benefit as well.

The US is the #1 Producer of Poultry to China today. If the Tariffs are kept, there are other countries that would love to take that title away. Again, one season away.

China just had a devistating Swine epidemic so they are in bad need of importing large numbers of pigs. The US is the largest supplier of Pork to China today. If the Tariffs are continued, next season, it will be a South American Country like Argentina that will pick up that contract.

Same goes for other Grains. Either the Tariffs are taken care of by the end of the growing season this year (that's by September) or South America picks up next years Contracts to China. With the flooding and the loss of the contracts, where is that going to leave the Farmers and Ranchers? Certainly not Trump supporters. Trump has 3 months to iron this out or he loses the entire midwest. Almost every family owned Farm or Ranch will not be able to get the bank support they need to be in business next year. Ever been to a Farm Bankruptzy Auction?

If or When the Farmers completely lose the Chinese Market to Brazil and Argentina and never get it back, what then? If the tariff war keeps up for the next 3 months, that is exactly what is going to happen. In September, China is going to either renew those contracts or get new contracts from other countries.
