How low will he go?

President Trump’s petty partisanship reaches a new low

So much for brotherhood and sisterhood in the holiday season

To answer any questions about whether or not President Donald Trump has a display of thin skin, take a look at who was invited to the White House's annual Hanukkah party. Actually, take a look at who wasn't invited.

No Democrats, and no Jews who weren't Trump sycophants.

This wasn't a private event, either, it was a government event, held in the people's house. And still, only two Jewish legislators — Republicans Lee Zeldin and David Kustoff — attended the event, according to the New York Times.

For me the low point was when Trump denied Catholic Sean Spicer the chance to be included in the group that met with the pope. Regarding this one, I wonder how many if invited would make a show of boycotting the event? That seems to be the popular thing these days. Saw headline that an athlete said if she won gold at Olympics she wouldn't accept a White House invitation.

This is the problem with mixing religion with politics, which turns every celebration stemming from religion into a political affair. The American government should honor religious holidays as a part of our traditional values without making them political.

These are the types of things that keep him from getting more things done. If he would just be less petty and realize that not everyone who opposes you politically is your mortal enemy.
