So... the White House says they will not cooperate until there is a vote on impeachment, just so they can say that there was a vote for impeachment without a proper investigation. Just how dumb is Trump and his lackeys?

White House, State Department, and other staff will be asked to testify, if they refuse they will receive a subpoena. If Trump tells them they are not allowed, he will then be openly committing obstruction and there will be no need for an investigation. End of story.

Pelosi does not want to call for a vote for a couple of reasons despite her claiming about not caring if impecahment cost the Democrats the House she does and knows if the Democrats who won in moderate and red state districts in 2018 are forced to vote on impecahment there is a good chance they will lose those seats in 2020. Second as I understand it once there is a formal impeachment vote the Republican minority would also be able to issue subpoenas something they are not able to do until there is a formal vote. So if Pelosi and the Democrats are as cock sure about there inpeachment case as they claim to be on the cable news shows have the vote and lets let the chips fall where they may.

I don't know the legalities of this, or even if this is the right move or not, but, it has to be confronted. This is not the American Way. This is what socialist nations fear. Canada, the UK, other shyteholes face abuses of individual liberty and constant abuses of our election process. If there is a real crime committed, than do as you must, don't make it a political spectacle. The Kavanaugh Hearings even had my wife angry when she watched them with me. She sensed something was amiss.

You cannot have an Impeachment Inquiry/Investigation unless it is voted on with a floor vote. Pelosi knows that; Trump's lawyers know that. She is also uncertain about how such a vote would come out, which is why she started this with a Royal Decree, and not a motion/vote.

She is also under pressure from Democrats who are NOT in whack-job-Leftist districts NOT to have such a vote, as it could be politically disastrous for them in "swing" districts. The American people know that this is nothing but an attempt to damage Trump in 2020.
