State of Disgust!
Well ... we're starting to see the real-deal where Obamacare is concerned. We'll see and hear many more nightmares and sad stories in the coming days. Then next year when the hidden fees come to bite us all in the butt everyone who supported this nightmarish legislation will be sorry.

Here's a lady who had high hopes which were dashed on the rocks when reality smacked her and her family like a Louisville Slugger:
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Swan Lockett had high hopes that President Barack Obama's health overhaul would lead her family to an affordable insurance plan, but that hasn't happened.
Affordable Care Act only chips away at a core goal - Health news

Here in Colorado, we will start seeing the true, high cost of Obamacare in hidden fees (or not so hidden fees) sometime next year (2015). This on top of a rapidly increasing cost of living will force more and more people into poverty.

On top of all that, folks who are opposed to abortion will be paying hidden fees to fund infanticide -- a practice that is actually against the law (the fees I mean).

Abortion fees hidden in Obamacare premiums
Insurance companies working under the Obamacare umbrella have secretly added a surcharge to cover the cost of abortions, an apparent violation of federal law that forbids the practice, congressional leaders charge.
Consumers signing up for insurance in an Obamacare exchange won’t find a single sentence telling them that they will pay at least $1 a month to fund abortions.

In California she can get federally expanded medicaid , if she cannot afford the ACH , 20 red backward hillbilly states are the only ones who rejected the fed expanded medicaid, not so in California and other educated states

The 20 states choosing not to expand Medicaid will lose billions of dollars in federal funds, according to a new study released Thursday.
The study, by the Commonwealth Fund, shows that the twenty Republican governors who rejected Medicaid expansion are depriving their constituents in need of their federally-mandated rights to access affordable health insurance.
"There are no states where the taxpayers would actually gain by not expanding Medicaid," said Sherry Glied, lead author on the study. "Nobody wins.
....

All 20 of the states choosing not to expand Medicaid have Republican governors. Many have said increasing Medicaid could add to the federal deficit. Others have long opposed the law since its passage in 2010.

Medicaid, however, is a federal program, Glied said, and residents of states that have not expanded the program are still paying taxes to support it. They're just not getting the extra benefits in their states."

Governors who refuse to enact policies designed to help people are in fact guilty of hurting people.

California: Gov. Jerry Brown (D) on June 27, 2013, signed legislation that would expand the state's Medicaid program, Medi-Cal, to more than 1.4 million additional residents under the ACA.
Colorado: Gov. John Hickenlooper (D) signed the expansion into law on May 13, 2013. He says that the expansion will save the state $280 million over 10 years and help cover an additional 160,000 adults.

and some sane republicans

Arizona: On June 17, 2013, Gov. Jan Brewer (R) signed into law legislation that will expand Medicaid to an additional 350,000 people in the state. The signing came after Brewer called a surprise special session on the 2014 budget and Medicaid to try to resolve a deadlock among lawmakers on the two issues.

Michigan: On Sept. 3, 2013, the Michigan House voted 75-32 to grant final approval to a bill that would expand the state's Medicaid program beginning in April 2014. Gov. Rick Snyder (R) signed the bill into law on Sept. 16, 2013. The proposal contains cost-sharing provisions for Medicaid beneficiaries; it received federal approval in December.

Nevada: Gov. Brian Sandoval (R) in December 2012 became the first GOP governor to commit his state to expanding Medicaid under the ACA. According to Sandoval's announcement, nearly 78,000 Nevadans would be covered by the expansion.

New Jersey: Gov. Chris Christie (R) on June 28, 2013, signed a state budget that includes $227 million for Medicaid expansion in the state. However, he vetoed legislation that would have made the expansion permanent in the state.
New Mexico: Gov. Susana Martinez (R) on Jan. 9, 2013, announced that the state would participate in the Medicaid expansion.

Ohio: The state's Controlling Board—a special bipartisan legislative panel—approved Medicaid expansion in 5-2 vote on Oct. 21, 2013, allowing Gov. John Kasich (R) to expand the program on Jan. 1, 2014, without approval from Ohio's Republican-controlled Legislature. Conservative lawmakers have pledged to mount a fierce legal campaign against the move.

You know that medicaid is the worst form of providing medical care there is. Medicare is better than medicaid. Almost no doctors accept it and those that do usually limit patients to 10 or 15% of their patients.

Not only that but guno failed to recognize the second portion of my OP that reveals the hidden fees associated with this new legislation. He must think that money grows on trees and the Skittles really DO just fall from the sky.

I live in Colorado and it is working just fine ... you don't hear any people ragging about health care ... you do hear from republicans running for office trying to use health care as a way to get them elected... doswn't seem to be working for them ...

actually you are wrong about medicaid there isn't anything wrong with it coverage ... as for doctors accepting it ... its like all policies... some do and some don't ... its like those idiots out there who say doctors won't take obama care .... Obama care, bwa HAHAHAHAHAHAHA like thats a merican gubment policy ... obama care is a path way to the private policies nothing more ... we all buy through the private sector ... just like any one else does ... so my question to you republicans out there is how does a doctor know its was bought through obama care ... this will be interesting to here from you right wingers telling us how the doctor knows ....

Folks in your ultra-liberal circles will NEVER rag about it because it's working in their fantasy world but in the real world I've heard several individuals rag about it since they lost the policy that Obama PROMISED that they could keep. Silly boy.
