PolitiFact's Lie of the Year: 'A government takeover of health care'

Government takeover?

Hardly.

The Obama HC bill was the greatest gift our government could have given to FOR PROFIT insurance companies.

The fact that the Republicans didn't want Obama to get a political win, doesn't in any way change the fact that all Obama's so-called solution really did was make the government SUGARDADDY to a PRIVATE INDUSTRY.

That's not socialism, folks, that's pure GRAFT masquerading as government-sponsored social welfare.

Last time I checked it wasn't there's to give. It's not the governments money. Then again you just proved that the government took control of the healthcare system.

riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight... why let actual facts get in your way

a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Smart people know that this current healthcare crap is unworkable... and then we will have the government explaining to all we stupid people that they need to save us... by bringing in 'universal health care'.

Action, consequence... and unintended consequences.... Anyone who believes this Administration has their best interests at heart needs that healthcare - stupidity is expensive to cure.

Gov. mandates purchase of healthcare

Gov. levies fine if one doesn't abide by mandate

Gov. may imprison you if you fail to comply

Sounds like a frickin take over to me.

Absoultely right! If they had done something to change the delivery of care, this might not have stunk so accutely of the bare faced grab of money that it is, but it didn't.

All this does is put the government in the pay line between the patient and the doctor and the thieves who have done so much for us in terms of graft, corruption, bribes and pay offs will now have a new revenue stream to steal from.

If they wanted to provide paid for health care for the 30% of Americans who do not have paid for health care, it seems that a good place to start might be to provide paid for healthcare for the 30% of Americans that don't have paid for health care.

That they chose to steal from the money that pays for the paid for healthcare of the other 70% of Americans, lied about this throughout the debate, continue to lie about it today, will not actually divulge the details until the Waivers are granted and will not actually define the changes for the average guy tells all you need to know.

What will it cost the $20K/year income guy with two kids to buy the mandated policy?

TRUTH OF THE YEAR. YOU GOT YOUR LIBERAL ASSES KICKED IN MID TERM AND IT'S PISSED YOU OFF MORE THAN YOUR USUAL STATE OF PISSED OFFED NESS. :clap2::clap2::clap2:

Hmmm........ We are not posting in great big red font. Seems you fruitcakes are angry even when you win. Of course, if you really had any idea of what you want, other than for the rich to get richer at your expense, you might not be so belligerant.

Well then, let's do the rational thing, put an end to the present system and adapt one that has a proven track record. Plenty to chose from, Canada, Japan, or even Taiwan.

Rationing is great until it's you who is being rationed.

Dumb ass, what is the differance between rationing on the basis of whether daddy has a job, or rationing on the basis of cost versus benefit?
