"In a goof that could play into President Trump’s “fake news” complaints, Politico initially published a faulty transcript Tuesday of his defiant remarks on Charlottesville that – thanks to a single word change – made it look like Trump was directly identifying with the white nationalists involved."
During his news conference the Liberal media demanded to know why the President waited to make a statement condemning the KKK, Neo-Nazis, and white supremacists. Trump responded by explaining that he, unlike the media who have had to issue retractions and fire reporters recently for fake news stories, wanted to wait until he was briefed all the facts by his US AG.
Unintentionally, as if to prove the President's point, Politico - in it's rush to get the story out (not intentionally, according to them) - published the Fake News transcript...
'Us' vs. 'Em': Faulty transcript on Trump presser spreads like wildfire
Way to go, Politico!
