Poland is going to build new nuclear plants

WARSAW, Oct 28 (Reuters) - U.S. firm Westinghouse Electric Co will build Poland's first nuclear power plant, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Friday, confirming a long-awaited decision aiming to reduce the country's carbon emissions and phase out coal.

With Russia waging war in neighboring Ukraine, Poland's choice of a partner from the United States underlines the emphasis Warsaw places on relations with Washington at a time when its security is in the spotlight.

A Polish American, an Irish American and a Latino American all dared each other to take skydiving lessons. On the plane the instructor lines them up, in that order. The Polish guy jumps, his chute opens perfectly, the Irish guy jumps and his opens perfectly. The pilot circles around so the Latino guy can land close to his buddies.

The Latino jumps and his chute doesn't open, not even a little bit. He plummets screaming past his pals. The Polish guy shouts over to the Irish guy: "That w#$#@&k wants to race!" and unbuckles his harnness.
