Plastic Man (real name Patrick "Eel" O'Brian) is a fictional comic book superhero originally published by Quality Comics and later acquired by DC Comics. Created by writer-artist Jack Cole, he first appeared in Police Comics #1 (August 1941).

One of Quality Comics' signature characters during the Golden Age of Comic Books, Plastic Man can stretch his body into any imaginable form. His adventures were known for their quirky, offbeat structure and surreal slapstick humor. When Quality Comics was shut down in 1956, DC Comics acquired many of its characters, integrating Plastic Man into the mainstream DC Universe. The character has starred in several short-lived DC series, as well as a Saturday morning cartoon series in the early 1980s, and as a recurring character on Batman: The Brave and the Bold (source of information from top: Wikipedia).

Plastic Man is an offbeat and under-appreciated comic book superhero who represents civilization fascination with body flexibility which is considered an intellectual 'virtue' in our modern era of agility-based networking (i.e., airlines, eTrade, etc.).

While other comic book avatars also symbolize agility praise such as Aquaman (DC Comics), a superhuman who can breathe under-water, Hawkman (DC Comics), a superhuman who soars like a hawk, and Iron Man (Marvel Comics), a superhuman whose specially-engineered body armor gives him extra-ordinary mobility, and Mister Fantastic (Marvel Comics), a superhuman who can twist and contort and extend his body parts, Plastic Man (DC Comics) clearly exemplifies a curiosity about physical change as it relates to agility.

How should we coordinate modern age populism art avatars such as Plastic Man (DC Comics) with a spiritualism/sentimentalism towards civilization tentacles?

After all, our modern civilization celebrates coordination-dissection films such as "WarGames" (1983).
