My son didn't want them.
He wanted Blueberry Pancakes. So we had pancakes (and I had a beer).
So for breakfast, we took the burger meat and made meatloaf (and rice).
The best meatloaf EVA!!!
Kids should eat what their parents decide, not the other way around.
I'm going to guess you have zero experience dealing with kids on *any* level.
You tell my nephew he's eating something he doesn't like, you're not going to win.
Ex: He does NOT like pizza in any way, shape or form, and if you tell him he has to eat it, you'll have the fight of your life on his hands, and then he will go into the kitchen, and proceed to make his own scrambled eggs or baked potato (yes, he knows how).
He's 5.
