Planned outages in L.A. area

Granholm HATES the fossil fuel industry, PP! So of course, Joe picked her to be Energy Secretary!

Its not just that she hates energy, but that she doesn't know excrement from Shinola as far as energy is concerned.

A true Ignoramus in the field without a clue.

Not in California. They are working on decommissioning their last nuke plant in San Luis Obispo
Indeed?

Do you think that they could be convinced out of necessity to recommission some?
It's a question of what form of energy is the greater or lesser evil. I think that saying that nuclear is some shade of green is quite logical, as opposed to bring back fossil fuels. Would you disagree/

Tens of thousands of SoCal Edison customers could lose power amid heat wave

Enjoy the suck....That's what you wanted...You got it.
Compton, without power, for 9 hours. That won’t be a problem I’m sure.

Santa Anas. You'd rather the winds blow down power lines and start more fires.
We would rather PG&E spend money on infrastructure. Their power lines and substations are antiquated.

If there isn't enough power generated for your needs, the delivery mechanism really doesn't make that much difference.

California is either going to have to increase power generation, or reduce its standard of living to a less power-intensive one like they have in Haiti or Chad.

Newsom should hide in shame.
California is having a heatwave. Those who live in the hills and canyons have been advised to keep their gas tanks full. Be ready to evacuate in case of fire.
????
Those with electric cars are asked not to charge them and strain the grid.
????
It's not gonna work is it?

Newsom has no shame, and no, you are correct, it's not going to work.

Does any of the MSM understand the complete lunacy of banning combustion engine cars, promoting electric cars then telling people they can't charge their cars when the government says they can't? WTF!!! Talk about fascism and tyranny!!! How is this escaping the MSM? OR, maybe the MSM is part of the Democrat party parroting the Biden and Newsom regimes and ignoring the complete incompetence of these people.
