Perry/Gingrich tied for 5th in Iowa poll, Cain...

...leading at 23% with Romney breathing down his neck at 22%. Gingrich seems to be have had trouble getting traction with the GOP base constituency from the beginning, where Perry started his campaign STRONGLY. Perry seemed to balk then fell apart in the debates, & now seems to be running a campaign based more on a comedy of errors. With Bachmann all but finished & Ron Paul losing momentum it looks to be all Cain/Romney in Iowa. I thought that Mitt Romney would take Iowa with Perry at least a somewhat close 2nd place. Is anyone shocked that Cain, especially being ambushed with a sexual harassment scandal is not just holding Romney but actually leading him in Iowa???
