People on Twitter Tell Trump No One Wants To Come To His ‘Shithole Country’

"I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Donald Trump is a racist," Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona tweeted. "Bigotry should have no place at the White House."

The minute I saw this story, I knew it was gonna be great fun. Everyone was gonna immediately lose their shit.

May as well embrace the madness for a while.

The sad thing is, we don't do anything about it.

Every day he proves that "electing" him (not really) was a mistake.

And every day, people like you get on here and try to minimize his unsuitability for the office.

Norway toughens residence rules

NEWS ANALYSIS: The Norwegian government is about to make it much tougher for many foreign nationals to move to Norway and settle down in the country. Newspaper VG reported on Tuesday that a proposal sent out to hearing this week would extend the qualifying period for permanent residence permission to five years, nearly doubling the amount of time that effectively puts a newcomer on probation. At a time when Norway has sought global talent and likes to portray an international image, it’s questionable whether the government realizes what it’s doing.

"It is not a shithole," Democratic Rep. Adriano Espaillat of New York, who recently made a congressional visit to Haiti, reportedly said. "It's a very proud people. People who are trying to make ends meet. People who are trying to reconstruct their nation."

But all the DEPLORABLES that never went to Haiti think they know more than Rep Espaillat who has.

The outrage, particularly and predictably by the media, is obviously meant, at its core, to damage Trump and the GOP at the polls.

Yes, yes, no one is outraged because what he said was obnoxious, racist and mean-spirited.

We'll see what voters really think of this stuff, in November. At least Trump is doing everything he can to sharpen the contrast.

Why? We can't trust the elections at this point. The Russians rigged the vote, and no one is outraged by it.

Patton Oswald:
In a week Trump will do/say something that'll make today's "shithole" comment seem quant. Does anyone remember "Mexicans are rapists," "bleeding out of her whatever" and "good people on both sides"? Happy 11th day of 2018, everyone!

It seems people from Norway, are the last ones who should be pointing fingers at Trump or Americans who are disgusted with immigration from shitholes.

Norway particularly bad on racism – British academic

Xenophobia is strong in Norway and the public debate on immigration is fundamentally negative, according to a recent study.

In her inquiry into xenophobia, Teaching Fellow at University of Leeds Mette Wiggen concludes that “I think this negativity is worse in Norway than in European countries with a longer history of immigration,” she says, adding that social media is partly to blame.

“On Facebook you often see young people leaving comments like 'I'm not racist, but if they can't behave the way we want them to they should just pack it up and go home.’ Today such comments are commonplace.”

Wiggen suggests that this is a new form of racism, which is less visible as it focuses on cultural and not ethnical differences.

“People argue that this isn't racism because the alleged problem is in the culture and not the race, but it's not that different, really.”

White privilege checklist:
Racist comment.
Outrage.
Depression.
Trump being Trump.
New normal.
One more chance.
Repeat.

Christian Christiansen :
Of course people from #Norway would love to move to a country where people are far more likely to be shot, live in poverty, get no healthcare because they’re poor, get no paid parental leave or subsidized daycare and see fewer women in political power. #Shithole

Looks like Norway has similar feelings about immigration like Trump.

Norway: Migrant Quality, Not Quantity

"The country's carefully regulated effort to allow only selected migrants to be admitted"

Norway's migration policy is similar to its attitude towards the European Union (EU). Though it has not joined the EU and remains outside the reach of most EU policy, many of its independent decisions — particularly regarding its relationship to European borders and migration policy management — have a uniquely European character.

The country's carefully regulated effort to allow only selected migrants to be admitted, together with its commitment to ensuring social equality for those who arrive, closely fits the model to which many other European countries (with varying degrees of success) aspire.

You don’t fucking get it do you. A president of the United States should be BETTER than
morons on a political forum.
This president loses the respect of Americans more and more each day.

"Miserably racist comments from a disastrously ignorant person in support of mindlessly cruel policies," former US ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power tweeted.
