for instance, i'll say that a 90% probability "manstopper' load, like a 4" barreled 357 revolver, using 125 gr jhp's is 3x as good as 230 gr .45 jhps (70% probability of stopping a man with a single solid chest hit), cause the .45's are going too slow to expand in flesh. This immediately causes an uproar, cause they claim that 90 is at most only 28% more than 70.

well, the facts are that a 90% load fails only 10x in 100 such shootings, while the 230 gr .45 jhp fails 30x in such shootings. So it's only 1/3rd as effective as the 357. You can prove this to yourself on animals.
