The ironic thing about Pence is that he only got the job after all the respectable Republicans turned Trump down because he was going down in flames and they didn't want to be part of it.

Then he won due to whatever trickery the Russians pulled, and he spent four years going along with any craziness Trump proposed until Trump organized an angry mob to bring down the government.
