How, exactly (and be specific) is a loss of blood, and an inability to walk without pain a problem???

That kind of severe loss of blood can kill you, pedophilia is not currently punishable by death. (You might want it to be and but it is not)

As to the second one, permanently crippling someone for a crime currently = cruel and unusal punishment.

When someone uses a weapon to commit a crime that weapon is taken away from the offender. In such cases and even those of rape I am in great support of their weapon being taken away. I think it should be removed, let them look at it sitting in a jar of formaldahyde, and squat to pee

Priest should be no different than any other citizen. We currently send pedophiles to prison than subject them to Macy's law. Often a requirement for parole is to be medically castrated for the duration of the remainder of your sentence.

As to physical castration, NO. For a couple of reasons.

First, if done improperly, the amount of possible blood loss is enormous, and possibly fatal.

Secondly, It can cripple you (as in make walking extremely difficult, and painfull) for the rest of your life.

Excuse me......Iv'e owned alot of Stallions in my day...had them gelded to make them more mellow and manageable...not exactly alot of blood loss or did not make them walk funny or in pain...actually they run quite well!

If it's only on a 4-6" chain, they can't drop it. They're forced to carry it in one hand. They can learn to use their other hand for any other necessary tasks. There's nothing making them open the locket...

This is true. But see, if it's in glass, they could break it & then slit their wrist...which isn't entirely a bad thing. Plexiglass will scratch and thus hamper vision. There has to be something......

Stallions arent exactly human are they. Yes is it possible, even probable that the operation can be completed without killing or crippleing the patient, however the two possible side effects are rather large. With the exception of the death penalty, causing severe bodily harm (ie removing a substancial part of a criminal's body) is under cruel and unusual.

WTF.. You're worried about cruel and unusual punishment for the offender, but you don't think what was inflicted on the child was cruel and unusual?? Sure, you feel sorry for the victim, but that doesn't warrant inhumane treatment? WTF was inflicted on that child? Was that humane?
