Everything was great after Clinton, but that didn't stop us from killing it off and taking on "W" who cut taxes twice, started 2 wars, and divided the country like no other until Trump came along! We just aren't as smart as we like to think! This is happening all over the world with wayward thinking all over the place revolting against gov't and common sense! This Brexit thing along with Nazi rise in Germany and Italy turned upside down! It's just a worldwide epidemic of mass insanity, reaffirmed with Trump! Not sure we're going to survive this time; inflated Nat'l Debt, deep divisions between Liberals and CONS that's getting more and more contentious everyday thanks to him, and the whole world "giving us 'the hand'" since he's alienating them thru tariffs and ripping up treaties!
