Palin slams W.H. on Libya response

Sarah Palin is accusing the White House of not showing enough support for the people of Libya still protesting against Muammar Qadhafi.

On her Facebook page Tuesday night, Palin said that it is “a little perplexing” to watch the administration’s reaction to events in the Middle East.

“There was a statement on the horrible earthquake in New Zealand, and certainly our hearts go out to all those affected by this horrible natural disaster," Palin wrote. "But nothing on the slaughter in Libya?”

As on Egypt, White House officials have been careful to not lean too far forward in voicing their preferred outcome in a far-from-resolved conflict. But Palin criticized President Barack Obama’s restraint, writing that “now is the time to speak out.”

Palin highlighted Qadhafi’s ties to past acts of terrorism in characterizing the longtime Libyan dictator as “Osama before Osama hit the scene.”

The former Alaska governor also suggested that NATO establish “a no-fly zone so Libyan air forces cannot continue slaughtering the Libyan people.”

Oo! Oo! They'd better listen to her! She can see Libya from her front porch.

no no no... thats russia... libya she sees from her back porch

I wasn't aware that Sarah was knowledgeable enough to spell "Libya," let alone find it on a map!

As for supporting the Libyan people, even if the CIA was active in this particular revolt, I doubt that the Obama Administration would care to make it public while its still in progress.

So what? The President is going to be critizied by his enemies no matter what he does!

Umm, so?

Palin's right...we should be doing more...if Obama wants to be a great leader, he is going to have to learn to lead.

And what exactly can the Wasilla Chihuahua turned Momma Gerbil teach Obama about leadership?

How to quit halfway when the going gets tough? Real leaders don't quit.

How to be petty and childish? No, we need a president who can act like a grownup.

How to Facebook? I'm pretty sure Obama is more internet savvy than Palin.

What "leadership lessons" can Palin give? That's right..........none.

Obama must have attended the Palin school of leadership, because NONE is what he has shown.

Palin is noboby.

Obama is the President of the United States.

Obama needs to be more proactive and less reactive.

That's been the major problem of his presidency.

He has an opportunity to do the right thing...what Clinton or the UN should have done in Rwanda.

I could care less about Palin.

Let's talk about the most powerful man in the free world, and why he has chosen to once again do nothing.

Let’s be clear. It was the Republicans who wrecked the economy. Both their people and their policies drove the economy into the ditch. They wrecked the economy not once, but twice in the last eighty years.
Your plan is to keep repeating this lie until people believe it?
How instructive.

ya think a NATO-led no-fly zone is a good idea?

I think WE should shoot down any aircraft that fires on unarmed civilians.

We?

Why should we shoot down any aircraft that is nor firing on our civilians?

For the same reason we should have protected the Tutsi in Rwanda.

Because murder is murder and if you have the ability to stop murder, you have a responsibility to do so.

This isn't a time to speak out, let these people fight their battle.
These people are not going to stop until he is out of office.

by lie you mean the unvarnished truth
Well, it may not be a lie.

It is a false statement; for it to be a lie, the person making the statement must know that it is false and then choose to present it at the truth.

MC5 likely not only hasn't the slightest clue that the statement is false, but if he did, he would not care.

On January 20, 2001, the Bush Administration inherited a budget surplus from the Democrats - after 8 years of Republican rule, can "M14 Shooter," say "with a straight face," that Obama inherited the same on January 20 2009?

Because murder is murder and if you have the ability to stop murder, you have a responsibility to do so.

So in other words you want your income taxes doubled so that the US military can be big enough to prevent a murder from ever happening around the world?

Don't worry we're going in that direction, if your grandchildren share your view they'll be ecstatic.

Non sequitur.
If you don't know what it means, please look it up.

You should learn to read for comprehension.

We have the ability. The money's been spent.

Please, in the future...Think twice, type once.
