Palin slams W.H. on Libya response

You can't criticize Palin for speaking her mind. She has been right on the Libya crisis just as she wa s on the BP oilspill. When it comes to energy, she knows her stuff. It has been reported that Qaddafi has intentions of destroying the oil pipelines to the Mediterranean countries. Palin is right that NATO should establish a No-Fly-Zone to prevent Libyan Fighter jets from straffing pipelines to destroy them. You must also remember that Ronald Reagan (B movie star) had no foreign experience either and yet was elected and he bombed Qaddafi's tent back in 86 killing his family members because Qaddafi ordered a nightclub blownup in Beirut killing just two Americans. Also Reagan (B movie star) brought down the Soviet empire. As President Clinton warned democrats about her (who brushed her off during the mid term elections) by saying "Don't underestimate this woman. She's articulate and resilient like me". The midterm results proved him right about her. She handed democrats their ass. He was right so don't underestimate Palin.

Definition of Resilient:
Able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions.

I'm glad someone was able too :eusa_pray:

Please support their implication that the assassination was carried out by the Brotherhood.

If you can, look for a source that doesn't wear its bias on its sleeve. :eusa_whistle:

Here is another one.

Muslim Brotherhood

Nasser's successor, Anwar-as-Sadat, promised the Brothers that shari'a would be implemented as the Egyptian law and released all of the Brotherhood prisoners; however, the Brothers lost their trust in Sadat when he signed the peace agreement with Israel in 1979; four Brothers assassinated Sadat in September, 1981

As we all know, Palin not once said that she could see Russian from her house. Not once. I would appreciate if people would stop saying something that isn't true instead of spitefully slandering her.

Sadat was assassinated in October by Egyptian Islamic Jihad.

You've been duped again by the Liberal's favorite trick..the clever edit.

What she actually says is:

"They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska,
from an island in Alaska."

The edit intentionally cuts that off.

In her Sept. 11 interview with ABC's Charlie Gibson, Sarah Palin had this to say about Russia: "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." Is that true?

Yes. Russia and Alaska are divided by the Bering Strait, which is about 55 miles at its narrowest point. In the middle of the Bering Strait are two small, sparsely populated islands: Big Diomede, which sits in Russian territory, and Little Diomede, which is part of the United States.

At their closest, these two islands are a little less than two and a half miles apart, which means that, on a clear day, you can definitely see one from the other.

Still, it's no less stupid.

A no-fly zone enforced by NATO? lol.
(...)

The Italians could enforce a no-fly zone in Libya without much logistical headache.
Libya is a midget whose military is weaker then Serbia was, when NATO bombarded Serbia.

Extremely stupid to try that edit trick again.

What reason is there for anyone to falsify a recording like that?

And it is intentionally falsified, they cut Palin off and then splice in a cut of Gibson speaking, to perpetrate the illusion that Palin has finished her response.

They only undermine their cause, as the undoctored interview is easily accessible.

Stupid is an understatement.

I didn't say she could see Russia from her house....I said she could se Libya

Just like our good friends in North Korea

Hell man, you can see Libya from all 57 states. :eusa_whistle:

I think WE should shoot down any aircraft that fires on unarmed civilians.

We?

Why should we shoot down any aircraft that is nor firing on our civilians?

For the same reason we should have protected the Tutsi in Rwanda.

Because murder is murder and if you have the ability to stop murder, you have a responsibility to do so.

A responsibility we obviously cannot afford. So says John Boehner. Where you been?

Of course we can afford it...we have a carrier and a missile cruiser right off the coast. Shooting down Libyan fighters can be billed as a training exercise.

WASHINGTON (AFP) – The aircraft carrier USS Enterprise has transited the Suez Canal on its way to the Gulf, the US Navy said Wednesday, raising the US military presence in a region buffeted by political unrest.

Rear Admiral Terry Craft, commander of the naval strike group, said the carrier's passage through the canal Tuesday was routine and "demonstrates the ongoing stability of this important waterway."

Traveling with the Enterprise were the guided missile cruiser USS Leyte Gulf and the USNS Arctic, a combat support ship.
