I am a rational theist American. That is thanks to the freedom of conscience given to you and me by our first four presidents who were pretty much rational theists themselves.

Rational theists are tolerant of all religious and non-religious practices and views when the beholders are tolerant as well regardless of majority/minority status.

I assume, Saint Cougarbear that you view the mess you describe from the perspective of your acceptance of Jesus Christ as your Savior. That makes a woman’s right to privacy on reproductive matters being legal in all states, a “mess” to you. Am I right.

As a rational theist I believe abortion bans by white Christian politicians in states they possess a majority are the “mess”.

And Trump’s Bible related fundraising scheme fits an intolerant pattern by bible worshipping Americans that exacerbates the mess as a rational theist rightfully sees it.

According to all the special elections the past couple years involving reproductive rights, it appear rational theists have it right and Bible believers have it wrong.

Four years ago March 2020 we were in a much worse mess. Three years and two months ago January 6, 2021 we had a sitting but outgoing president attempting by election fraud and mob violence to overturn the election he lost. Fifteen years ago March 2009 the First Black President began fixing the economic and military mess created by his predecessor thus beginning the longest stretch of positive growth until Trump fucked it all up in 2019. Twenty one years ago March 2003 GWBUSH decided to invade Iraq instead giving UN inspectors more time as Senator Joe Biden wanted him to do; that empowered Iran and created a trillions dollar mess plus tens of thousands lives lost that the world is still dealing with to this day.
