Ohio Republicans move to exclude judges from interpreting enshrined abortion rights

you are the one lacking the balls to actually answer the question
Your question is stupid, and a weak attempt at catch22….Also, just like a lib…

you said that “the people voted to change the constitution“, show me the amendment they voted on…

I am struggling with this.. Does this mean that the losers can disregard the landslide in favour of freedom And impose their own nutty laws ?

Is that even possible ?

What an absolute shower these people are.
Not quite sure the article doesn’t make much of anything clear, there is a quote from one of the legislators, which is pretty much stating the obvious that they will be able to modify law…well duh, they are legislators that’s what they do.

So not sure if this article is really much ado about nothing but click bait

Nope. This is a constitutional amendment. You can't modify a constitutional amendment thru legislation after it is enshrined.

Republicans will obviously sue at a later date challenging constitutionality of the law for whatever reason, and instead of a court challenge to determine the constitutionality of a measure, the republican legislature is saying that they get to determine constitutionality in challenges, instead of their Supreme court....

And IF this is correct, that is utter shenanigans! Y'all have awful, awful awful republican representatives....: (

Nobody said anything about modifiying the amendment...read the link in the OP...the quote is "modifying existing law..." the legislature certainly can do that, and might have to enforce the new Amendment.

Here's the quote from the article "
The Ohio legislature alone will consider what, if any, modifications to make to existing laws based on public hearings and input from legal experts on both sides.”

It certainly would be nice if you dembot posters had a clue what we were talking about before jumping in

Remember, we're talking about those who see a headline that agrees with their biased thinking and regurgitate it, thinking they're proving a point. There's no reading comprehension involved.

But is it not an exxtension of the J6th playbook. ? That was an exercise in ignoring the will of the people. And yet trump is still possibly the nxt Prez.

Is it just possible that a large portion of Americans just dont see the need for voting ? They just want their own way.

Thats a dangerous place.
"The J6 playbook" :auiqs.jpg: :p😆
