Just one example, Dudley Nuttite. The Pentagon announced recently that they have to get spare parts for aircraft from planes in museums and those that have been retired. That's just one of the many cases of depletion. There was a thread on this recently on USMB.

They must be talking about B-52's in that case.

Those are the oldest bombers in the air fleet.

The clip I saw on the news said B-52's as well as a lot of the service's fighters and helicopters. Maybe williepete or Divine.Wind can give us an update. Or a777pilot
