When Obama swaggered into office a few short years ago, the world was relatively stable. Then Obama began with his world apology tour, his announcement to Iran to meet with no pre-conditions. Then came "Arab Spring", his alliance with the Muslim Brotherhood, Pulling all troops from Iraq, "ISIS is the J.V." and a host of other stupid foreign policy decisions.
After 7 years of this human disaster in charge the Middle East is burning, borders are being redrawn, everyone is shooting at everyone Russia and China are now allies and Iran is sitting pretty with their Nuclear Program intact, sanctions lifted and money flowing like water. Add to that the Refugee crisis that is going to completely redefine Europe over the next 10 years and ALL OF IT is tied to this academic Liberal buffoon as POTUS for two terms. You never realize how important a leader is until you have a REAAAALLLLLY BAD ONE.
There's a movie title from 1989 that SO much reminds me of conservatives' collective approach to political discourse: Say Anything.
Let me try it a couple of times.
The 2003 invasion of Iraq was the culmination of the most brilliant longterm strategic thinking which was conducted with the most meticulous planning by forward-looking men with a firm grasp of the history of the area and its people.
Here's a shorter one:
George W. Bush is the finest president this country has ever produced.
See? I said it so it must be true.
What's probably more accurate is to say that some people will agree with it or buy it. Maybe Barbara Bush. But aside from her, it's a hard sell because invading Iraq was a FUBAR of monumental proportions of which America is going to be forced to deal with for decades to come.
Yeah, let's elect another conservative, folks!
