Reportedly, she has no entrenched personal ties with Obama and no long questionable paper trail so I say, bring her.

For what it's worth, my points aren't that she's black. It's that she's from liberal New York City and the codeword "civil rights" came up. Given Holder's penchant for circumventing law with regards to a certain liberal civil rights movement, and shirking his duties to uphold and defend the law even when he disagrees with it [you, know, the core of his job description]...we are looking at another version of Eric Holder. And as to race, why is it that half-white Barack Obama raised in Whitey Whiteland Hawaii suburbs feels like all the people he nominates have to have tons of melanin in their skin? It seems like a person's qualifications should jump off the resume' first. Instead Obama rushes to the bottom of it to scan the "check race" section and then sort of gives a passing glance to qualifications after that..
