The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food and Nutrition service tracks month-to-month figures dating back to January 2001. The numbers show that the total of food stamp recipients rose to 14.2 million during President Obama's administration.

The highest in history so far is President George W. Bush. The number of food stamp recipients grew to nearly 14.7 million while he was in office. But, that's eight years in office, compared to President Obama who has not finished his first term.

The Ag Department's information also shows that 444,574 fewer recipients have signed up for food stamps under Obama's watch, than under Bush. But again, Bush spent eight years in office, as opposed to Obama's three.

but then the economy and jobs were great under Bush were they not?

Let's get some Republicans in office to throw people off of food stamps. And if they starve or have to look through dumpsters for food in order to give more tax cuts to the wealthy, that's just the way it has to be.

Right?

Dumpsters. like in NYC, right now
Papa Obama, "we leave no one behind"

Throw off under President Romney?
No need to,
since there will be real jobs and real GDP growth

The need will be less

Right?

It would reduce landfill dumping and increase profits for garbage companys.

You mean like Fords involvement in China and most other Auto Makers in the world.

China IS the worlds fastest growing market for new automobiles andf will very soon pass the USA in annual auto sales if it has not already.

Should GM ignore those business opportunities there?

Why are you so anti business?

Sure

I am all for free and fair trade

Apparently, you seem to only have problems with
when it happens under a Republican president

It sounds like food stamps cause recessions? In other words get rid of food stamps and bingo happy days are here again. Now why can't Democrats come up with that kind of reasoning; it is a simple cause and effect argument but it takes a Republican to see the logic.
