...how President Obama is smart enough to have "pulled the economy back from the brink" yet doesn't have the slightest clue about job creation?

I'm having trouble understanding how he could do one but not the other. It's all about economics is it not?

It's like the NFL quarterback who knows how to throw passes but can't hand the ball off the the running backs. That kind of player just doesn't exist. Or if he did he'd be benched rather quickly I think.

    Please help me understand.

Because, bless your retarded little soul, unemployment is always the last indicator to fluctuate in any business cycle; Last down, last back up. That should be enough for you to shut up, but I know it isn't. So lets talk specifically about what's been happening around here.

I know it's hard for you to believe in the bubble you've built around yourself, but the economy would only be marginally different regardless of who won. We're coming out of an economy that was bloated to the gills and has contracted. Meanwhile, due to the actions of the private sector and the indifference of both political parties, manufacturing jobs have been sent overseas. Unfortunately, not everyone is cut out to be a hedge fund manager, and there's only so many shit retail jobs to be had. For a whole generation that's been living on borrowed time, the time has come to pay the piper.

Since you're so brilliant, why don't you tell us what he should do? Well he can't create jobs directly, right, that'd be soooooocialism! Sure, he could cut taxes for the rich [Amazing how they've convinced you THAT will suddenly work, despite 30 years of epic failure] and create a bunch more jobs in Asia, but don't we have a deficit problem to worry about as well?

What he's trying to do, much to the chagrin of the Republicans, is position the US as a leader in new economies, namely alternative fuels and smart grid technology. I happen to think that besides re-negotiating trade deals and/or increasing tariffs [my long-held suggestion], that's the best path to sustainability. But it's not an instant gratification endeavor, mmmmkay?

There won't be any new jobs because we don't produce anymore, just consume.

And the stuff we consume comes from overseas.

Allthat outsourcing is finally coming around to bite us in the ass.

I agree with almost all of what wrote. I do disagree with your position regarding trade. I think multilateral trade agreements are important to advance new markets, and sustain capitalism. More open trade levels the playing field for all nations, particularly poorer nations. As poorer nations improve its infrastructure, education, health care, etc, new markets emerge. And as new markets emerge, the US benefits by penetrating these markets. From a medium-to-long-term perspective, the US economy needs new markets to penetrate to sustain a reasonable growth rate.

The only possible answer has to be....he doesn't want the economy or job creation to get better. He has a genuine hatred for the Country as it is now.If you have wealth you got it by fraud or corruption or illegally. The liberals from Pelosi to Reed,to Biden, all wealthy people believe that rich people need to be punished. How dare they have more then everyone else.Oh by the way the people I just mentioned are all very wealthy.I saw Ed Shultz from MSNBC tonight talk about the estate tax/death tax....He was angry that people who's relatives have died get money that they haven't EARNED.....They should be taxed heavily and then the government can get their hands on it to distribute among the people.
And they say all the time they are not socialists.People who earn money and get taxed and pay that tax
will now be taxed again after they have passed on....When is the tax on the citizens of the country enough for these people?
