obama: Single Payer Would Be Better Than ACA

You have a "right" to health care.(...?)
How does having a right equate to the necessity of the state forcing other people to provide the means to exercise said right?
To what other rights does this apply?
Who says you have a right to healthcare? You have no more right to healthcare than you to drinkable wine.

The president's correct.

The ACA should be repealed and replaced with Medicare for all.
Because Medicare works out so well for those on it, right?

Yes, it does.

LOL! No, it doesnt. At least you're not pushing that it will be just like VA, which is so wonderful. As we learned from the VA scandals.
No, Medicare delivers substandard care because it will not reimburse to market rates, pushing up rates for everyone else. Like every other price fixing scheme, it induces shortages and long wait times.

Well, there is that...

They defend every failed program as evidence we just need more of it.

So, if a government program like Medicare had higher patient satisfaction than private insurance...what would you say then?
I'd say you can manipulate evidence any way you wanted.

The single-payer systems in England, Greece, Spain, and Italy are very bad. I lived in England for 5 years and Greece for 2 years.

France and Germany's single-payer systems are better, but they also have draconian restrictions on medical malpractice suits, a fact that liberals often ignore when they discuss those systems.

Liberals also ignore the fact that France and Germany are a fraction of the size of the U.S. How about we talk about Russia's socialized health care system? How about India's? Do liberals stop to wonder why so many Indians doctors have left India and come to the U.S.?

Canada's health care system is not bad, but it's not as good as ours either, and, again, Canada's population is a fraction of ours.

The scandals don't detract from what the VA does nor the satisfaction of their patients.

Of course The Washington Post is gonna put out such propaganda. Go visit veterans websites and see what veterans have to say about the VA.

I'm a vet and I've given up on trying to get my file updated by the VA. They've lost my paperwork twice. I personally don't know a vet who thinks the VA is doing a good job. I know many, many vets who have been treated terribly by the VA.

I am a vet. Sorry your VA sucks. Mine is rated one of the best medical facilities in the country. It's where Stanford doctors train.

I've been telling you all along that the ACA was a false flag operation by dimocraps aimed at forcing a single payer plan on the United States.

IOW, it was designed to fail.

BTW, in case you are one of the few that don't follow my posts religiously like you should, I am favor of an ACA-like Health Insurance program in this Country.

I am tired of people who refuse to pay their own way. I am tired of people who refuse to buy Health Insurance and then, when they do get hurt or sick, go to the E Room with zero intention of ever paying their bill -- Which can go into the MILLIONS of dollars.

When you have Socialized Medicine, people. You have socialism. That simple

Obama A Single Payer System Would Be Better than ObamaCare Grabien - The Multimedia Marketplace

Color me SHOCKED!

So, we finally get an admission as to why the Left scuttled the US Health insurance system... as a means to socialize US Healthcare; OKA: Gutting the United States.

What?

Are you saying that Governments implement programs that are DESIGNED to fail then replace it with something WORSE?

Why, that's only happened for hundreds, perhaps thousands of years!

Next will be the entire economy so they can replace it with something new and improved.

Do you see a pattern here? Create a crisis and then use it your own ends.

Yes... the pattern looks eerily similar to a 50 degree ice laden slope, which once one steps off onto it, there is no avoiding the consequences of having done so. Like "Don't Ask, Don't Tell..." only much more slippery, with no potential exits.

I beg to differ, the ACA is working perfectly.

It was designed to collapse the system and it is.

Obamacare just made healthcare worse. Lol. Govt at its finest. Screwing. Shit. Up.

Saying it doesn't make it so.

I know. Just look at the complete lack of coverages, rising premiums, and so on.

Wait...look at the millions more with coverage as a result of the Affordable Care Act? Okay.

A new survey finds that only 11.9 percent of people in the United States lacked health insurance in the first quarter of the year, a drop of 5.2 percentage points since ObamaCare went into effect.

Ah, yes...rising premiums. They never did that before the ACA did they?

The other factor is the changes that people see in their health insurance every day -- changes that often have nothing to do with the Affordable Care Act. Many of the problems that spark complaints about Obamacare, such as rising out-of-pocket costs, might be worse if the law did not exist.
