From the article:

Obama Puts Blame on George W. Bush Iraq War for Rise of ISIS

"President Barack Obama said the rise of the Islamic State was an unintended outcome of the U.S. invasion of Iraq ordered by President George W. Bush in 2003."

---

I kind of agree that Iraq war broke the balance in the middle east, and now entire region is turned to war between Sunni vs Shiite. Saudi Arabia says ISIS is dangerous, but it doesn't like the war on ISIS because Shiite (Iran) is leading the war, on the other hand, fund ISIS. Now it is all mess.

Isis had nothing to do with Bush or Iraq. Isis grew out of obama's support in the Syrian civil war. The Syrian civil war was part of obama's idiotic support for the arab spring that started with the immolation of a Tunisian street peddler.

You don't remember all the conflict between sunni and shiite right after the Iraq War? Shiite took the power after the war and punished the sunnis, and the sunni countries like Saudi and Qatar funded the sunni militants, and they are the origin of ISIS.

Sunni-Shiite struggle dates to antiquity.

The problems in the ME are rooted in a Muslim schism wrapped in a Persian/Turk struggle over who will rule the inferior(as they think) Arabs.

Not our business, except that we should sell weapons to both sides, for gold or oil.

I knew it! I just knew that it was Bush's fault all along! Along with Fox News and Rush Limbaugh.

"Obama Puts Blame on Bush, Iraq War for Rise of ISIS"

And the president is correct.

ISIS is, in essence, Sunni militants seeking to take back control of Iraq from a Shiite dominated government in Baghdad, a government put into place by GWB when Saddam was driven from power as a result of the failed, illegal invasion of Iraq.

That those on the partisan right refuse to accept this fact is understandable, but it is a fact nonetheless.

I love love the old "disenfranchised Sunnis" bullshit.

Let's see. We have Al Qaeda, ISIS, the Taliban, Boko Haram and other Sunni organizations who obviously just want to have a shot at real democracy and don't want voter ID.

Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. They're disenfranchised.

:lmao:

No. They took over great swaths of territory in both Syria and Iraq and have established their Caliphate.

They don't believe in government. This is not about voting rights.

Obama is the worst president ever and an equally bad person. What a creep!
Iraq had been stabilized with a democratic gov and a strong US military presence to maintain stability. Also we had Iran surrounded and Syria cut off geographically.
Then shithead obama broke everything.
Obama removed all stability to appease his moronic 1960's ant-war sheeple and everything has gone to hell as a result.
Impeach, evict and incarcerate shithead Obama and lock him up in GITMO.

Jr. should have left Iraq alone and gone after OBL instead of Saddam.

Granted.................Saddam was a tyrant and a dictator, but he kept out the majority of terrorists, because he and his sons didn't like competition.

Taking Saddam out was the worst thing we could have done, because now there are many other militant mad dogs who want to have the throne.

Yep.........Saddam was a bad man who did many bad things to his own people, but at least he was the only bad guy in the land. Now? Because he's gone, there are LOTS of others who want the crown, no matter how much blood they have to spill.

Jr. fucked up. Obama is trying to fix it, but is having a hard time doing so because of the GOP.

Jr. should have lost in 2004, because he's such an idiot that was being led around by the nose by Cheney.

The results of the Iraq War, foreign and domestic policy since 2006 are on Obama and The Democratic Party, their watch by 66.6 % or more

They wanted the responsibility and they got it, they were the "deciders"..

Nope...........the fault is with Jr. (aka Shrub) because the policies he put in place have far reaching consequences.

Iraq is Shrub's fault. Same with the mess in Afghanistan. He made dirty deals (with help from the asshole known as Cheney), and fucked the whole thing up.

We could have been in and out in a matter of 4 years. Jr. made it last longer by attacking the wrong people.

Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11, yet we went after him.

We should have spent our time going after OBL when we could have, but Shrub (aka Jr.) was so hell bent on avenging his father who failed.

And no................we don't need another Bush in the White House. The previous 2 have failed and made a mess out of things. Jeb should stay home.

It's obvious that the Obama supporters here refuse to recognize that we are up against shifty, sneaky, devious Islamic terrorist Arabs. Saddam was one of the worst and now our Leftbrainers mourn his demise.
