Who believes that Obama really cares about any of this? He helps take down Gaddafi, who had given up everything, posed no threat, cooperated, then starts secretly arming the Syrian rebels from Libya. He doesn't support the Iranian uprising. Gives up everything to Iran. Gets nothing in return. He routinely criticizes or rebuffs Israel. He supports the Muslim Brotherhood. Now all of the sudden he's like Mr. Tough Guy, gonna get them bad guys who aren't Islam.

Oh, that's right. His polling numbers took a nosedive over his handling of, or his lack of handling of, the new situation in Iraq. Now he cares, well, not really.

Oh this is his give the Muslim Brotherhood the last shot. This is not a piece of fiction.

Anyone that does not realize that U.S. airstrikes in Syria are extremely complex tactically, strategically and political is a moron.

The President requiring his personal approval of every target is appropriate. He will be held responsible to the results.

It is not unusual at all for Presidents to require this level of control during limited military actions.

Lyndon Johnson picked the targets in Vietnam. That really worked well didn't it!

I got this e-mail from one of my best friends who is a retired Marine Lt Col.

Lt. Col Matthew Dooley, a West Point graduate and highly decorated combat veteran, was an instructor at the Joint Forces Staff College at the National Defense University.
He had 19 years of service and experience, and was considered one of the most highly qualified military instructors on Radical Islam & Terrorism.

He taught military students about the situations they would encounter, how to react, about Islamic culture, traditions, and explained the Mindset of Islamic extremists. Passing down first hand knowledge and experience, and teaching courses that were suggested (and approved) by the Joint Forces Staff College.

The course, "Perspectives on Islam and Islamic Radicalism", which was suggested and approved by the Joint Forces Staff College, caught the attention of several Islamic Groups, and they wanted to make an example of him. They collectively wrote a letter expressing their outrage, and the Pro-Islamic Obama Administration was all too happy to assist. The letter was passed to Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Martin Dempsey.


Dempsey publicly degraded and reprimanded Dooley, and Dooley received a negative Officer Evaluation Report almost immediately (which he had aced for the past 5 years). He was relieved of teaching duties, and his career has been red-flagged. “He had a brilliant career ahead of him. Now, he has been flagged.”

Obama comes down on the side of anybody who hates America and especially Israel. About the only other things I can make out about his presidency in terms of strongly held principles is that he doesn't like the Tea Party, freedom, taking responsibility for anything, being decisive, being clear about his intent, or bad polling numbers. But I think you're right. He's got a man-love thing going on with the Muslim Brotherhood. There might be some hanky-panky going on in a closet somewhere in the White House right now with one of those Muslim Brotherhood advisors he's got on staff, a little Lewinsky action without the dress.

It is not unusual at all for Presidents to require this level of control during limited military actions.

If they're extremely complex, and they aer, then why is someone who never even served in the military, much less had any sort of training in this, making these decisions??
It isnt the president's job to make these decisions. That's why he has a staff of professionals, known as the militarty, who have spent their lives studying these issues.
Another example of Obama's arrogance. He literally doesnt know what he doesnt know.
