Obama on Late Night?

Getting hot under the collar?

Perhaps you should step away from the PC for a time.

Telling me what Bush did is pointless, since you should know by know I consider Bush a Monumental and worthless douchebag.

What Bush did is also no defense for things Obama does, unless the standard is to out moron a moron.

I dont know your personal opinion on W.. i do now..

BO cheapening the office by going out on late night TV?? if BO does it alot I agree.. if its once in a blue moon thats not cheapening it.. IMO

Most people dont follow politics as heavily as most do on this board and BO on late night TV may be one of the few times those folks see him...

please tell me your kidding? otherwise, i'll have no choice but to put this in the most idiotic statement thread...

No, it's called cheapening the office.

W's, the decider, speech's, lack of curiosity and intelligence didnt do that??
See my above post about trying to use 'Bush' in any kind of discussion with me.

You suffer from the same problem a lot of people have, you think anyone against Obama is automatically pro bush or pro GoP.

WRONG.

Bush is, was and always will be america's #1 douchebag, and his GoP freinds suck ass.

Find a real argument, not that chickenshit.

Correction the reason Bush looked so bad in office is becuase of the "Douchebage" before him. Im not saying im Pro Bush and im not saying im not. But Clintons socialistic approach to the economy in my opinion was the actuall cuase of this problem

Now, be fair.

Clinton I also can't stand, but he didn't make Bush, Bush made his own problems.

Alwyas trying to blame 'the last guy' is part of the problem, not a solution.

What the hell? Is Obama an "A-list celeb" or our Commander in Chief? How does the president have time to take off of our economic crisis to go on a comedy show? For a man who believes government should control everything, youd think he would being trying to "fix" everything. Whats next Saturday night live?

You people are too serious. You should lighten up some. What do you think Obama is going to do, put his hand on some kind of economic button that's only in the White House that slowly but surely changes our economy back to the positive?

He's going out in front of 5 million people to talk to them. Just like he'll be doing next Tuesday night in the nationally televised press conference.

I can't believe the same people that said he's doing too much are now saying he's not doing enough.

You're missing the point.... It sends the wrong message... He is out hangin with celebs and having a good time while many Americans are suffering... If Bush would've done this he would have been killed in the media...

i saw this last night i was stunned.....and tonight he is on leno and yesterday he was giving "campaign" speeches in orange county (did the bus the dems in)....

chaos swils in the world economy and our leader can't be bothered to go to work.....

imagine if the company you worked for had a declining work load, was laying off people, remaining employees took pay cuts, the company was loosing money each month and the bank just pulled your line of credit and you are behind on your rent......what would you think if your boss flew across the country to give speeches about how he hope things will change, and goes on two tv shows.....

oh puleeze.... baby bush took more vacation days than any president in history. I'd be embarrassed to post a thread like this...

oh wait... it's kman the troll... nevre mind.

Obama's doing what a president is SUPPOSED to be doing... COMMUNICATING. Perhaps you're just confused because for eight years, the cabal didn't think they should bother... given that the right wing loonies are spending every day trying to, how did your leadership say it, oh yeah "bring down Obama's approval numbers" I'd think it appropriate that Obama be out there. If he's creative in how he's out there, so what? he was creative in how he campaigned, too.

I'm wondering where the people are who for eight years said that Bush was "working" while clearing brush in Crawford.

such disingenuousness... and despite that, the approval numbers haven't changed.

So now he cant talk abotu sports either?

Why was it OK for Bush to talk about baseball?

I didn't read the article, but I am guessing Coach K didn't think it was ok for Bush to spend time talking about baseball, either.

He puts in a full day and is being criticized for trying to to too many things at once. Your remark is pathetic.

This kind shit thread from the right is the most pathetic drivel I have seen. Sorry if this President gives US a full days work and can still walk and chew gum at the same time.

Bush lowered your expectations too much.

Coach K is really on to something - his comments tap the agitation a growing number have regarding Obama's rather disinterested approach to leading the nation at a time he himself hammered home repeatedly as a "great crisis" - they have even taken to describing this as an "economic war".

So if they truly believe that description, what we have is a war time president taking time to push a story of him filling out his NCAA bracket, bussing in Democrats for yet another campaign style town hall meeting, and going on a late night comedy program.

There is a clear disconnect between Obama and the actual job of President - a reality that I find quite troubling.

Well, it's about time to start watching hoops. I love the first and second rounds. That's when you get most of the upsets. College hoops is so much more fun to watch than the NBA.

bullshit.....a full day meeting with espn.....flying across the country.....giving campaign speeches and going on tv.....and thanking himself on the telepromter....

meanwhile back at the ranch.....his own folks are lying about things is not even aware of.....

obama is begining to make bush look like a rocket scientist......and making you look like the fools that blindly supported bush......hell obama is continuing in his footsteps....waging ilegal wars....missspeaking.....spending money like a drunken fool....he even has the treasury printing extra.....and today i read he is considering realeasing gitmo freedom fighters into the general population.....

but you keep defending him and saying at least he is better than bush......gee there is a high standard to chase......

what growing number??? the numbers haven't changed. I know the right must hate that. But it's fact. The guy was elected wth 365 electoral votes and 52% of voters. The nay-sayers are still the same folks who didn't vote for him, would never vote for him and will never vote for him.

now, reality:

Now, FWIW, I agree with Nate Silver that the above is kind of a silly way to measure success, but it is what we have and what you people are yelling about. Nate prefers this: http://hussmanfunds.com/wmc/wmc090316.htm

FiveThirtyEight: Politics Done Right: NASDAQ Now Up Under Obama Presidency

Now, if you were complaining about Bush every day for eight years, perhaps you'd have some credibility. There was a guy who REALLY had a disconnect between himself and the job of being president.

ah how cute....defending and justifying bad behaviour with bad behaviour....so what you are saying is bush sucked and since obama is doing the same thing he sucks as well....

new boss same as the old boss....

Duke Coach to Obama: Worry About the Economy, Not NCAA Picks

I'll take it one step further:

Get some Depends undergarments, and worry about the economy, and stop wasting time with your bowel movements.

Pretty crazy complaints here huh?

I guess they think he should divorce his wife and put hi kids up for adoption too?

I guess people just want someone that will be President 24 hours a day. They are fed up with the part-time Presidency that we've had over the past 8 years.
