I think the partisan split on this issue would make you a little more tepid in that assertion. There's no shortage of jingoists among liberal Democrats.

I agree we can and would do well to take more Syrian refugees. They would class the joint up considerably while they're here. We might not come out too badly in the future when it comes to an extra card to play in Middle East foreign policy, either.

Why are we continuing to cede the leadership of the free world to Germany? Oh yeah, I forgot...leading from behind...

That's because the refugees ARE ISIS. There is not vetting, no documentation. Look at the majority of refugees, almost all men. Did they leave their wives and children to the terrorists? Or is what we are experiencing the Muslim UN spreading Islam throughout the world. This is a Muslim invasion, and they start making demands as soon as they enter a new country.
