Obama administration standards admit that the ACA is a failure

Half the thing hasnt been implemented and it still is wreaking havoc. There are more people uninsured now than before the plan. Costs have skyrocketed and coverage has shrunk. It has done the exact opposite of what was promised. Insurance companies thought they had a gold mine and now realize they got the shaft. I feel no pity for them, they lobbied for the thing. But punishing insurers isnt going to make coverage better.
Yes, repeal this shit and replace it with GOP market based reforms.

I wonder what the enrollment would be if no lies about the plan were ever told by the opposition to the plan? Any thoughts on that, nutters?

Maybe you would like to admit that lies have been told by the GOP in an effort to derail the law....before passage and since. Maybe your own bullshit filter will force you to? Any chance of that?

Understanding Obamacare and why it will fail

Since 1990, culminating with Obamacare, Progressives progressively destroyed health insurance. How? By switching definitions.

Old definition: Insurance – current fixed, smaller payments to protect yourself from future potential unforeseen larger catastrophic events; based on actuarial equations – potential future loss x percentage probability of occurrence = cost of insurance. Example: $1 million catastrophe exposure x 1 percent probability = $10,000 insurance cost. The equation was a square deal – not a good or bad deal. New definition: Insurance – a means to spread some people’s known high medical costs onto everyone else’s back.

There were no lies told by the GOP. Everyhting said against it was true. No one fears Obamacare will succeed because it will not. It cannot. It is so bad some people think it was actually desgined to fail to make way for single payer. That's how bad it is.

Some of the Lies told about the ACA:
It's socialism (it's ins. industry based; single payer would be closer to that).
It uses DEATH PANELS ( Actually it eliminates them...previous to the ACA, the ins industry regularly condemned folks thru arbitrary caps and denial of coverage due to "pre-existing" conditions.
It kills people and will destroy our country. Really?...Credit Bachman for that gem.
It destroys jobs. No real evidence for that one...The ACA actually helps small business insure more workers.
It limits options. Not true...the ACA actually increases choices for individuals and makes coverage portable...not locked to a particular job...so folks do not have to fear leaving a job due to loss of coverage.
There's a lot more...
But other than that oft repeated old chestnut "If u like ur ins..u can keep it"; I've heard NO LIES in support of the ACA.

And of course, if you like your plan you can keep your plan. Period.

You must be one of them lo-lo posters---low information, low intelligence.

OP- You did hear about the website crash for 2 months, the mandate delays, and the tidal wave of ridiculous Pubcrappe, right? It'll be fine, especially when insurers really start competing...

Doctors likely won't take kindly to getting paid a smaller percentage for services rendered. Therefore, when these "competing" insurers lower their rates they'll have no choice but to lower the percentage of income that will go to the doctors. The quality of care will be reduced as a result -- the wait times will increase -- and it's likely that truly sick folks won't want to dig through all the red tape and wait for hours on end so they simply won't go to the doctor at all. What a train wreck!

At the Pain Management Clinic they are already reduced in what they can do for you thanks to Obamacare. This applies to those on Medicare. What the heck?

Brownie points if you can tell me who was lying when he said this:

"If you like your plan, your doctor, you can keep them. PERIOD."

Hope 'n change here folks, get your ice cold hope 'n change!

While the price of my family insurance has gone up—just like it does every year—the rate of annual increase has been lower than it has been for as long as we have had our policy.

Well, isn't he something special. Our insurance went up 44 freaking percent, which is WAAAAAY higher than it has ever been for as long as we have had our policy. Wow, that unaca sure is great! Oh look ----> "Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius said health-insurance premiums are "likely to go up" in 2015, an acknowledgment that the Obama administration doesn't believe the sweeping changes to the health-insurance marketplace will end premium increases in the near term. " Health Insurance Rates Likely to Rise in 2015 Ooops, that wasn't suppose to happen, that's not what we were promised.

You should be glad it's such a mess, that means you'll get your single payer wish sooner.

Oh look.

Health insurance premiums have risen more after Obamacare than the average premium increases over the eight years before it became law, according to the private health exchange eHealthInsurance.

The individual market for health insurance has seen premiums rise by 39 percent since February 2013, eHealth reports. Without a subsidy, the average individual premium is now $274 a month. Families have been hit even harder with an average increase of 56 percent over the same period — average premiums are now $663 per family, over $426 last year.

-It was worse under Bush
-The GOP sabotaged it by not participating in the process
-Rates would have gone up even more if we hadn't passed ACA
-It could always be worse

Take your pic of insane rationalizations.

-The Republicans have NO plan...but they DO...and have had since 2009...NOT to be heard from the left. Obamacare is an albatross that hangs around Democrats necks...exclusively. They cannot hide or explain their way out of it. They face the WRATH of the people this year.
