You can't make this stuff up:

In a long-awaited interpretation of the new health care law, the Obama administration said Monday that employers must offer health insurance to employees and their children, but will not be subject to any penalties if family coverage is unaffordable to workers. ...

So we have this big Kabuki Theater where the government is raising taxes on the pretext of making Health Care Affordable, but its okay if workers can't afford the plans.

Got it. So, what are they doing with all of the tax money if it isn't Making Health Care Affordable?

$obamacarelines.jpg We have to pass it to see whats in it .

Sure you can! How else do you explain 95% of the threads on this site.

95% of the threads on this site aren't about the Obama Admin admitting that the Affordable Care Act doesn't have anything to do with making Health Care Affordable.

But thanks for playing!

What happened to policy rates falling by $2,000.00 per family, per year? OH! That's right, they went up by $2,000.00 per year didn't they. Just another fine example of the left obtaining results that are just the opposite of their stated intent.

What happened to if you like your insurance and your doctor, you can keep your insurance and your doctor?

" The new rules apply to employers that have at least 50 full-time employees or an equivalent combination of full-time and part-time employees. A full-time employee is a person employed on average at least 30 hours a week. And 100 half-time employees are considered equivalent to 50 full-time employees.

Thus, the government said, an employer will be subject to the new requirement if it has 40 full-time employees working 30 hours a week and 20 half-time employees working 15 hours a week. "

I'm thinking this is going to stifle employment numbers. Over in Europe there are many countries that are juuuust under the threshhold for rules such as this. It just won't be worth it to hire that next person that takes you over the magic number.

It's already stifling employment - the economy is barely creating any private sector jobs. 80-85% of all business creation is done by small businesses, and they are now going to limit that creation to not cross the threshold.

The link says you are an idiot. Idiot.

The administration goes the cheapskate (i.e. lower federal spending), business-friendly route and the right attacks from the left.

Can't make this up indeed!

Wrong. The Obama Administration goes the Corporate Cronyist route and funnels middle class taxpayer money into the Cronies' bank accounts (a portion of which will be returned to the political class).

Where is the law that was passed by the GOP to force all Americans to tithe to a church?
