NYC YMCA phasing out Christmas and Santa

    Looks like the 'Young Mens' Christian Association' is phasing Christianity, as it gets rid of Santa in favor of Frosty the Snowman. I suppose this is an attempt to find the lowest common denominator for a religiously and culturally diverse population.

    I find it so bland and pathetic. Santa isn't even a religious symbol, but a secular one. And the YMCA is an organization with Christian roots.
