The NY Post is reporting that current and former cops have paid to have a banner flown up and down the Hudson telling diBlasio they have turned their backs on him. An NYC councilman Wiley-Norvell is now wagging the finger of " divining the city won't help". What the hell was diBlasio going to accomplish publicizing his talk with his biracial son that he was worried for him in the streets because of NYPD? At the same time, diBlasio is depending on NYPD to guard and protect his wife and children 24x7???

He was looking to appear as if he were a victim. He didn't mention the police he threw under the bus protect his own family 24/7. Including his biracial son. There is an element, call them what you will, but an element who believed that a certain narrative had been established and taken as universal truth. That narrative described certain groups (minorities) as oppressed and righteous, while other groups (whites, cops) were oppressors and evil. de Blasio saw himself as representing the oppressed, and made stupid comments regarding his position. He took a firm stand on the side of those who don't need him at all, and against those he needs completely.

That isn't good enough. They should demand his resignation. If the NYPD went on strike until he resigned it would happen sooner than you think. There is still time to put him out of office but they will have to make it known they are serious and will not accept no for an answer.

It was not the chiefs that had their lives put on the line here. It was the NYPD officers. They have every right to demand his resignation and if they unite and refuse to report for duty the matter will be resolved in less than a week. De Blasio would be TOLD TO RESIGN. The NYPD officers have more power right now then they have ever had to right what is wrong and it begins at the top folks. The Very Top. Police officers going on strike is a criminal act. It would end in a matter of hours...as a few of them are locked up and "accidentally" end up in general population on Rikers Island.
