NY cop murders his whole family

Cops deal with a lot of stress and they also see a lot of really awful things. It's similar to men who come back from war messed up from some of the shit they saw. Sometimes someone just snaps. The human brain really isn't designed to see this kind of stuff. Suicides are higher among these groups and there aren't enough resources available.
All true. But they usually do not murder their families.

Living in a house with a gun doubles the chance of dying by homicide.

No, actually, it doesn't.....

Living in a house with a criminal, a drug addict, an alcoholic or a violent abuser increases your chances...the gun has nothing to do with it.

Are you ever NOT shilling for the gun lobby?

Being a city cop in garbage America probably greatly changed him for the worse

Garbage America? Lol

The most desirable city in the world is garbage?

You hillbillies kill me. Too funny

It is a tragedy. It shouldn’t really be the butt of some political commentary.

Another quasar fail.

Maybe it's time to revisit that state mental health care thing. :dunno:

Defund the police... but call them when things go south

Insanity.
Nah. They aren't out to save me from anything. They're out to arrest me if they can. Even though I'm not very criminal-ish. I wouldn't say "defund them"; but I ain't callin' 'em. They ain't gonna do a damn thing good for me.
You're better off handling your own business; And I mean that.

I've had two interactions with law enforcement both traffic. Both went well, I was polite, they were professional.

Didn't get arrested and no citations. I was in the wrong.

Yeah, well when's the last time you had to beat 2 guys who were jumping you?

And you won, and the cops come and you ain't all tore up; But they are?

I had 2 separate neighbors out there telling the cops it wasn't my fault and those 2 jumped me; but oh no.

The logic they follow. :rolleyes-41:

Nobody on my street blamed me for what I did; I'll tell you that.

IDK what you're talking about.

I don't put myself in that situation
