If Hillary had given that speech, I could almost buy your theory, because Bill and Hillz DID have a ton of Hollywood friends, for MANY years.

And as regards, "everyone knowing" Harvey was a predator, you can say that about insiders, people IN "the industry".
Yes, when it came to people "in the industry" it was something of an open secret.
The OTHER open secret, which was actually an OPEN FACT, was that Weinstein was literally the 800 pound gorilla in the industry and could make or break almost anyone. He was an actual Hollywood "kingmaker" almost the likes of which only used to exist in the days of the old Hollywood Studio System.

But unless you hob-nobbed with Hollywood types all day long, and you were just in the normal circles on the periphery, the most you were likely to hear were rumors, vague ones, because those "in the industry" were kind of hesitant to point the spotlight on Harvey.

So my point is, if Michelle was even coached at all for that speech, and I suspect she would have been, she was probably coached to sweeten it for Harvey, because that would make Harvey do nice things.
