Now college athletes can sell endorsements

The difference is the amateur status. An Olympic athlete has always been able to get paid for the use of their Name, Image and Likeness. But not paid to play the game. Is it splitting hairs? Sure. But unsplit hair is a rarity these days.

Also, those with more talent and the drive to excel achieve more in life. I have a lot of friends who are musicians. The talented ones make money.
At this time the players receiving money being paid for NIL, not for playing

Change to allowing players to get monetary compensation for their efforts, whether through payment from the school or from endorsements.
Thats not how it works now

in the future dont go off half cocked when you do not know whats going on

I never said that's how it works now. Are you talking to the right person?

You're the one who is ruing the possibility of this happening. I'm saying it's a good thing.
