I saw this today on the news. They had a former FBI agent who had worked putting mafia types in jail, and he said that if this was a sanctioned hit, there would be nothing else done.

If it wasn't a sanctioned hit? Then there is a good chance of another mafia war.

He also said that his being killed in front of his own house made it a hit that was personal, because he was killed where his family could see him.
