Northern Israel called "1948 lands" and "occupied territories"

It is true that the Palestinians refer to Israel as occupied Palestine

Is this true? What is Israel's legal status?

Jews are the only Palestinians since the Romans renamed Judea, land of the Jews, Palestine 1500 years after Jews lived in Judea and 500 years before Muslims lived there.

You really are a clueless clown.

Middle East historian Bernard Lewis...
Official Roman usage of the name Palestine to designate the area of the former Jewish kingdom seems to date from after the Jewish risings and their suppression. The Emperor Hadrian made a determined attempt to stamp out the embers not only of the revolt but of Jewish nationahood and statehood.

It would seem that the name Judaea was abolished at the same time as Jerusalem and the country renamed Palestina or Syria-Palestina with the same intention to obliterate its historic Jewish identity.

So you weren't liked even back then? :lmao:

Who isn't liked, Hun? The jihadists you suck off.

Winston Churchill...
We owe to the Jews a system of ethics which, even if it were entirely separated from the supernatural, would be incomparably the most precious possession of mankind, worth in fact the fruits of all wisdom and learning put together.

The coming into being of a Jewish state in Palestine is an event in world history to be viewed in the perspective, not of a generation or a century, but in the perspective of a thousand, two thousand or even three thousand years" "This is an event in world history

Alexis de Toqueville...
I studied the Koran a great deal. I came away from that study with the conviction there have been few religions in the world as deadly to men as that of Muhammad. So far as I can see, it is the principal cause of the decadence so visible today in the Muslim world and, though less absurd than the polytheism of old, its social and political tendencies are in my opinion to be feared, and I therefore regard it as a form of decadence rather than a form of progress in relation to paganism itself.

Winston Churchill...

How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy.

The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science against which it had vainly struggled, the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

Well that's a good first start, realizing that what you did made you not liked by a lot of people. Very good.:clap2:

Son, stop apologizing already.

As Palestinian Media Watch has reported, teaching children that all of Israel is "Palestine," "1948 lands" and "occupied territories" is an essential component of the PA's education to deny Israel's legitimacy and existence. PA-controlled media and Palestinian academics likewise routinely refer to all of Israel, including such Israeli cities as Jaffa and Haifa, as Palestinian cities, or as "occupied."
They have to have an occupation, after all.

It is said that in 1948 five Arab countries attacked Israel. These five countries lost and Israel won land.

This is false.

A cease fire was called by UN resolution to end the fighting. No one surrendered. No one won or lost that war.

The Israeli government signed armistice agreements with Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, (Iraq was under Jordanian command) and Egypt in 1949. These agreements came after the end of the League of Nations, after the UN General Assembly passed resolution 181, after the end of the British run Palestine Mandate, After a group of foreigners declared themselves to be the state of Israel inside Palestine, and after the 1948 war.

These armistice agreements confirmed that Palestine's borders remained unchanged. Palestine remained whole. Israel had won no land from Palestine.
