What makes a better school in your opinion? That's right, kids learning more. Kids do learn more in better suburban schools, that's just a fact. That isn't possible if they only taught to the level of lower achieving schools.

Parents who pay all their tax money are expecting the schools and teachers to teach their children on a level high enough so they can get into a quality college. If they only taught kids to be good enough to get into a community college, they would be outraged by the results they paid so much money for.

Memphis police say 11 total victims were found after gunfire erupted at and around a nightclub early Sunday.
One person was found dead, while another five people were in critical condition, police said.
The gunfire stretched to two separate but nearby scenes, which investigators believe to be connected.

Memphis police on Monday arrested the first of three people wanted after shots rang out in and around a nightclub the day before, killing one person and wounding 10 others.
Julius Freeman, 21, was charged with facilitation of second-degree murder, five counts of attempted facilitation of second-degree murder and five counts of possession of a firearm to commit a dangerous felony, the Memphis Police Department announced on Facebook. A bond has not been set at this time.
Online booking records show Freeman is being held at the Shelby County Jail on the 11 counts and his next court date is Tuesday at 9 a.m. local time. The investigation remains ongoing, and Memphis police ask anyone with information to contact the homicide bureau at 901-636-3300 or Crimestoppers Memphis at 901-528-CASH (2274).
Freeman was one of three persons identified Sunday in the shooting in and around Live Lounge. The other two remain at large as of Monday morning.

These shootings get no particular notice because nobody of any consequence was involved, either as perp or victim. Had one of the victims been a noteworthy student-athlete, it probably would have gotten a little more coverage. As it stands...who cares? Nobody outside the immediate families.

I think they would celebrate more if the left were able to disarm law abiding Americans leaving only them and the police with the guns. the NRA contributions to Republicans are very slim at best.
